WHAT IS THE GAME?
PERMIT DENIED is a single-player demolition arcade game that runs in a web
browser. You drive a bulldozer around a town, smash buildings, and push rubble.
The camera shows the town from above at an angle, so you can see the streets,
buildings, and debris around your machine.

The title screen looks like a demolition application stamped PERMIT DENIED.
It is the game's start menu. Select PLAY to choose a mode and site.

GAME MODES
Time Challenge: Earn $1,800 in in-game cash within three minutes. Demolition
earns cash. Watch engine heat and track stress: overheating or
overloading the tracks can end the run. Upgrade the blade, engine, or push
power as you reach cash milestones.

Sandbox (default): Explore and demolish without a deadline or breakdowns. Engine heat
and track stress remain visible as guides. Try different approaches to
breaking structures and moving debris.

Brick Contract: Take on a focused job to demolish a brick building. Bring down
its structural sections and let them settle to complete the job.

SITES AND CONTROLS
Choose a site with 10, 30, or 100 buildings, using connected roads and lots.
Use W/S or the up/down arrows to drive forward and reverse. Use A/D or the
left/right arrows to steer. Hold Space to power the blade. Press Escape to
pause. Touch controls provide a driving stick and a POWER BLADE button.

The game uses JavaScript to display its menus and draw the game world.
